Iliauni Horizon Europe
An allegorical wall panel for room E207 at Ilia State University in Tbilisi, a room dedicated to Horizon Europe, the EU’s programme for research and innovation. 2022.
The panel is about science, people and their boundless possibilities. Three figures compete in intellect, as in the Judgment of Paris; others look through telescopes to the future and the past, hold a flag, an atom, a star, and help small insects on their way, while machines fly among the clouds. The messages are familiar, so the panel tells them with irony.
